How to Apply to NUST Step by Step
From creating your applicant account to accepting a merit list offer, here's the full NUST undergraduate admission process in order.
1. Register and create an applicant account
Start by registering on the official NUST undergraduate admissions portal (ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk), where you'll create the account you'll use for every subsequent step, including NET registration, admit card downloads, and result checking.
2. Register for and sit NET
Choose a NET session (see NET test dates), pay the applicable test fee, and sit the exam at your assigned computer based test centre. You can typically register for more than one session within the same cycle.
3. Submit your application with programme preferences
Once you have a NET score, submit your formal application listing your preferred programmes and campuses in genuine order of preference, along with your Matric/FSc results or IBCC equivalence certificate.
4. Wait for merit lists and confirm your seat
NUST releases merit lists in rounds. If you receive an offer, confirm your seat within the given deadline (usually involving a confirmation fee) to secure your place before the next round is processed.
