NUST Scholarships & Financial Aid

NUST offers a mix of need based and merit based financial support here's how to think about eligibility and where to apply.

Merit based support

Students with a high aggregate and strong ongoing CGPA are typically eligible for merit based fee concessions or scholarships, often tied to maintaining a minimum CGPA threshold each semester once enrolled. Since your admission aggregate is one input into eligibility, a stronger calculated aggregate can open up more merit based options at the point of admission.

Need based financial aid

NUST also runs need based aid for students who can demonstrate financial hardship, generally assessed separately from academic merit through a documentation and review process handled by the university's financial aid office.

External scholarships

Beyond NUST's own programmes, students often combine university administered aid with external scholarships from government bodies like HEC (Higher Education Commission) or private foundations worth researching independently alongside your NUST application.
