NUST Aggregate Calculator for O Level Students
O Level results feed into the same IBCC equivalence percentage used by A Level applicants they aren't scored separately. Here's how O Level grades factor into your NUST aggregate.
How O Level marks are used
NUST doesn't ask for a standalone O Level percentage. Instead, your O Level subjects are combined with your A Level (or FSc equivalent) subjects into one IBCC equivalence certificate, which produces a single percentage weighted at 25% of your aggregate.
In practice, A Level grades usually carry more influence on the final equivalence percentage than O Level grades, since IBCC's conversion tables are built around the higher secondary (intermediate level) qualification doing most of the work similar to how FSc Part 1 outweighs Matric in the local board formula.
If you only have O Level results so far
Students who've completed O Levels but are still finishing A Levels can still estimate their likely aggregate contribution from the academic side, but the real IBCC percentage only exists once both O Level and A Level (or equivalent) results are combined. Use a conservative estimate in the calculator and revisit it once your A Level results are final.
