NET GUIDE

NUST NET Test Dates & Sessions

NET runs across four sessions a year, giving you more than one shot at your best score. Here's how the session structure works.

The NET 1 to NET 4 structure

NUST spreads NET across roughly four testing windows per admission cycle, commonly referred to as NET 1, NET 2, NET 3 and NET 4, held at computer based test centres in major cities. Exact dates shift year to year, so always confirm the current schedule on the official NUST undergraduate admissions portal (ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk) rather than relying on last year's calendar.

Choosing which sessions to sit

Because your best score across all sessions attempted counts toward your aggregate, many applicants sit an early session as a baseline, then a later session after further preparation. Balance this against your board exam schedule sitting NET before FSc Part 1 results are finalised is common, since NET and board exams often overlap.

Admit card and test day logistics

Admit cards are typically issued online a few days before your scheduled slot through the admissions portal login. Bring your original CNIC or Form B/NICOP, arrive well before your session for biometric verification, and note that a personal calculator is not permitted an on screen calculator is provided within the test interface for numerical questions.
