MERIT & PROGRAMS

NUST Business School (NBS) Admission & Merit

NBS runs BBA (Hons) under the same NET based aggregate system, but with a different NET subject stream than engineering applicants.

BBA admission at NUST

The NUST Business School (NBS) offers a BBA (Hons) programme evaluated on the same aggregate formula as every other undergraduate degree at NUST, but applicants sit the Business & Social Sciences NET stream rather than the Engineering & Computing paper.

NET stream for business applicants

The Business & Social Sciences NET stream is weighted Quantitative reasoning 50% and English 50%, without the Physics component engineering applicants sit. This shifts preparation priorities toward quantitative aptitude and English comprehension rather than FSc level Physics content.

Competitiveness relative to engineering

NBS's BBA programme typically closes at a competitive but somewhat different aggregate range than engineering programmes at SEECS or SMME, reflecting a different sized applicant pool sitting a different NET stream. See closing merit by programme for the broader competitiveness picture across NUST.
